Membership & Important Registration Information
We continue to be bombarded with inquiries regarding our program. While flattering, it puts us in a difficult position. We have many fine swimmers who understand our expectations and want to make a commitment to our program if offered the opportunity. We are asking that current and prospective swimmers and parents reflect and evaluate their commitment.
Dates & Deadlines:
THY SWIMMING REGISTRATION Dates & Deadlines: Monday, March 19 – Deadline for notification of intention to register to Joanne Craig, VP & Team Registrar at KCraig5442@aol.com . Knowing each swimmers’ intentions to register is important in order to gauge roster size and to know how many new swimmers we can invite. Please email that you either WILL or WILL NOT be registering for the spring/ summer session. *** ALL REGISTRATIONS for New & Returning swimmers must be done in person on following dates: Team Registration: Thursday, March 22, 6:30 - 7:30p.m
AND Wednesday, March 28, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. To insure we receive all the proper forms & payment, a parent/guardian will need to be present to register their son/daughter at the above times and location. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. **FORMS ARE LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE ATTACHED TEAM HANDBOOK** Do not drop registration forms off at Chandler Hall. All registration materials must be submitted to Joanne. Monday, April 16 - New Parents Meeting (existing parents are Welcome too!). There will be a new member meeting at, 7:30 p.m. at the BCCC pool. NOTE: Arrangements to reconcile past due payments must be made with the YMCA prior to registration. Practice begins Monday, April 16th at 5:30. National Team members begin practice April 23. THE PRACTICE TIMES WILL BE THE SAME AS THE WINTER SESSION EXCEPT FOR WHEN THE summer swim leagues start. We will have morning practice (7-9) on summer league meet nights in support of our kids need to have a little fun with swimming. There will be no evening practices on those nights. THIS YEAR THE SUMMER LONG COURSE SCHEDULE IS SHORT TRIDENT Summer Storm is June 7-9 THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SUMMER SESSION TEAM TRAVEL MEET TO THE LONG COURSE SEASON ENDS AUGUST 3 2007 – 2008 Short Course Season First Practice: Monday, September 10 A Detailed Calendar Will Be Forthcoming REGISTRATION PROCEDURES: 1- Email KCraig5442@aol.com and request & complete the Tri-Hampton YMCA Swim Team Spring/Summer 07 Registration Forms. (They will also be posted on our Website at http://swimthy.worldswim.net/ . Deadline for all forms and payment submission. Must be done in person with Joanne Craig by March 28, 2006. 2- Call or visit Tri-Hampton Branch of the Lower Bucks Family YMCA at
Chandler Hall (190 Sycamore Street 3- Hit the Middle Atlantic Swimming logo on our website and go to the MAS Site, Click “Forms Depot” and download and complete the MIDDLE ATLANTIC / USS SWIMMING ATHLETE APPLICATION and TRANSFER RELEASE Form (If you are new to THY!). 5- New members, attend the team information meeting on April 16. Current
swimmers must begin practice April 17 (or April 24 if you competed at
Y Nationals). All swimmers should have: a lock (you will be assigned a
locker), mesh equipment bag, kick board, pull buoy, paddles (preferably
"stroke maker"), and fins. Wear sneakers for Dry-Land.
To insure we receive all the proper forms & payment, a parent/guardian will need to turn in registration forms and payment to our treasurer, Sally Lewing. She can be contacted at dlewing@comcast.net or 215-579-9193.
